    Disappointed

    If I could leave 0 stars I would. Pictures on the internet hide alot of the damage and are not accurate, all of them were damaged in some way shape or form, dont get me wrong we know they are not brand new cars, however the car we went to see had a massive crack to the bumper, the alloys were scuffed to high heavens and the overall presentation was shocking ( you can see the polish marks ). On the internet they look very professional and well kept, however when you get there all of them are cramed into a tiny warehouse space, you cannot even examine them properly because of how close they are all packed together. They didn't seem to know alot about the cars, one of the people there would occasionally come up to us and asked us have we seen anything we liked, to which I had to reply no. We even booked a test drive with the car we picked out however no one at all seemed interested in getting it out for us ( I dont even know how they would have it would have taken a good hour to move them all about). We travelled from Walsall to see these cars and were extremely disappointed with the service & lack of care. Do not trust what the pictures they have on the internet.

    Dear Annie We are really sorry and disappointed to hear of the negative experience you have had at our dealership. We however thank you for your review and the explanation you have given. Unfortunately on the day in question we were under staffed due to holidays/sickness’, and will say that we do try and book appointments in advance spaced out over 1 hour slots, but despite fixed appointments some customers do turn up early/late, but we still try our best to accommodate everyone, and on the day in question our only member of staff present approached and greeted you whilst also trying to deal with other customers who turned up early, however you were not sure which car you came to view and our colleague politely asked you to check on-line, whilst he spoke with another customer, at the same time trying to assist you but unfortunately you didn’t appear to be engaging, as we guess you were unsure, during which another customer turned up so yes we were busy on the day question, at which you appeared to have left. With reference to comments made about the possible vehicle you came to view, we are not quite sure which vehicle you exactly viewed as we do have over 30 vehicles in stock, and if you walked round to the wrong side of our showroom you may have walked to the area where vehicles are awaiting preparation/pending registration. If you were to look at our on line reviews you will see that we are a professional, honest and knowledgeable, hence only specialise in Japanese Imports. We are always trying to improve upon our services so all feedback is taken on board, and should you wish to contact The Manager we will endeavour to try and restore your confidence moving forward.

    What a pleasure to deal with. It makes a change for a dealer to be very knowledgeable about imported cars rather than some who jump on the import band wagon. All the vehicles had been converted to mph and other options to have vehicle under sealed. Decatted and uk spec android media unit fitted. Excellent staff and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.

    To be honest, our first impression of the sales area was not good, being in a side street & only a small compound. I could not be as far away from the truth. The car I was looking for was there. We were left to look & do what we wanted with the vehicle. The vehicle was in immaculate condition & I was even provided with a mat to look under the vehicle. All questions we had were answered honestly & give me the confidence to do business with them. We had a test drive, more questions, all answered. We had a few minor works to be done which was agreed without question. We waited six weeks for DVLA to release the paperwork. When we arrived to collect, all minor works had been done & a generous amount of fuel in the tank. The only hiccup was that my iPhone did not sink immediately with the mirascreen but that was easily completed when I got home. In conclusion we are more than happy with the vehicle & service we received from Jap Motors & have no hesitation in recommending them.

    Bought our Nissan elgrand from this dealer 2 weeks ago. Staff are very knowledgeable and showed us several vehicles and gave us a good price on the one we chose. There's no pressure at all to buy. Staff are so pleasant and cannot do enough to help. After service has been brilliant. Very pleased we used this dealer.

    Disappointing

    Disappointing. Was initially happy with our Elgrand despite the low trade-in value of our part-exchange. The issues with the car have been never-ending. It seems the car was in an accident, which they omitted despite my specifically asking. Repairs seem to be a bodge, with front bumper painted without priming, so the paint flaked off after a short while. Car was MOTd on the day of collection. Took it for a health-check a few days later, it was discovered the CV Boot was cracked and there was no grease inside, which is an MOT failure. Credit where it’s due: they sent us a replacement part in good time. When driving home from the purchase, the tyre pressure warning light came on. The sensors and pressures all check out so something's faulty. The AFS warning light is also constantly blinking… There is corrosion under the car (resulting in failed A/C) which means the undersealing was not done or was done incompetently... Proceed with caution.

    Firstly thank you for your recent review which we are a little surprised by given the 18 months which have lapsed, and note that you have done nearly 13,000 miles in the vehicle some 1 year post MOT in November 2019, in a vehicle you are not happy with? we will have never known as you have not made any contact since our last text messages exchanged back in Dec 2018. We can confirm the following:You suggest we failed to advise you of any accident damage and as requested by yourself we provided you the VIN number to assist with enquiries. Not quite sure why you suggest a low trade in value for your car as both parties mutually agreed a figure to your agreement far more than we suggested, however you fail to mention the number of problems you failed to advise us on the faults on the car you traded in, but later in your own words once everything was resolved satisfactorily, you say “I’m sorry your having trouble with the Merc, and assumed that we weren’t too bothered"
